6-Month W2 Assignment with potential to extend or convert)
Pay: $29/HR

On behalf of our client, a global leader in content creation, distribution, and syndication, we are looking for an Account Manager, Syndication, to join our team.  This will support the Syndication team in a dynamic 6-month project where you will play a pivotal role.
Position Summary:
You will be assigned client and/or programing accounts, workflows and the digital/physical sales for assigned markets, including Syndication distribution as well as Free/Basic/Pay/VOD and other digital clients. Additionally, you should have robust knowledge and experience processing, coordinating and distributing syndicated television programming via satellite, terrestrial, tape and Store & Forward.
Key Responsibilities:
 
Client Communication and Servicing Activity

  • Communicate with client stations, productions, and SPT Sales staff to address needs, build awareness of asset delivery, and understand client challenges.
  • Analyze client/station contracts to fulfill obligations regarding materials (trailers, scripts, music cue sheets, metadata, and master materials), ensure delivery, and address contract-related issues with sales personnel, licensors, distributors, vendors, and internal SPE employees.
  • Maintain servicing activity records for allocated territories on tracking systems and monitor delivery status.
  • Evaluate quality management metrics (on-time delivery, rejection rates, and vendor performance) and recommend improvements.

Materials Research, Preparation and Technical Activity 

  • Research library materials, inform clients of available assets, and provide manufacturing cost estimates for requested materials.
  • Coordinate the delivery of video, audio, and CC/subtitle elements to digital inventories by managing availability, following up on missing elements, ensuring due dates are met, and updating clients.
  • Address material delivery issues (e.g., rejections, delays, or shipping errors) by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and optimizing processes.
  • Resolve technical issues and incorporate emerging technologies to improve material preparation, servicing, and archiving processes.

 
Vendor and Internal Communication Activity 

  • Prioritize work orders, negotiate delivery dates with vendors, enforce performance standards, and manage vendor performance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry in systems like HUB, Smart Engine, SPE Connect, Distribution Backbone, and GOLD.
  • Collaborate with DCS internal manufacturing departments and vendors to ensure material delivery, address issues, and guide client delivery requirements (materials and timelines).

 
Requirements

  • 3 years of TV sales servicing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business related field

 
Knowledge of:   

  • Material distribution and general sales servicing of syndicated television programming via satellite, terrestrial, tape and Store & Forward 
  • Knowledge of video / audio digital materials and tape formats.
