Location: Milpitas, CA (Hybrid – Mon / Wed / Thu on-site)
6-Month Assignment (potential to extend or convert)
Pay: $54-56 / hour
Our client, a Fortune 300 a computer hard drive disk manufacturer and data storage company, is looking for an Accountant IV to join their team. This person will work closely with the Revenue Accounting and Reporting teams, as well as business partners from BU Finance, Sales Operations, Claims Settlement, and IT Teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the Reserves calculation, Account Reconciliation, Margin Analysis, and customer program.
- Assist with various harmonization projects and provide insights to enhance accounting processes to be more efficient and effective.
- Key contact for internal and external auditors, and cross functional teams who may have questions around our reserves process.
- Review processes on an ongoing basis and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to modify and implement functionality improvements to system reports and processes.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or MBA preferred
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting and revenue roles in high tech or similar industries
- Advanced Excel skills and analytics aptitude required.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition fundamentals
- SAP and Oracle Cloud experience is a plus!
- PowerBI experience is a plus.
