Construction Administrative Assistant

Location: Los Angeles, CA

3-month assignment (potential to extend)

Pay Rate: $30/hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Assistant with 1-2 years of construction admin experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive support to the Construction Project Management Team, including administrative tasks, scheduling meetings, and coordinating project activities.
  • Assisting in document management, including setting up meetings, communicating with consultants and contractors, and maintaining project files.
  • Tracking project-related expenses, performing data entry, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Compiling and editing administrative and project-related reports as requested.
  • Supporting office equipment maintenance and offering light IT troubleshooting.
  • Overseeing construction safety training databases and collaborating with the Security Department for contractor credentialing.
  • Collaborating with various departments to align initiatives and project goals.
  • Coordinating special projects as assigned and presenting findings to appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-2 years construction admin experience
  • Prior experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook required
  • Experience with Procore highly desired
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
