Construction Administrative Assistant
Location: Los Angeles, CA
3-month assignment (potential to extend)
Pay Rate: $30/hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Assistant with 1-2 years of construction admin experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive support to the Construction Project Management Team, including administrative tasks, scheduling meetings, and coordinating project activities.
- Assisting in document management, including setting up meetings, communicating with consultants and contractors, and maintaining project files.
- Tracking project-related expenses, performing data entry, and maintaining accurate records.
- Compiling and editing administrative and project-related reports as requested.
- Supporting office equipment maintenance and offering light IT troubleshooting.
- Overseeing construction safety training databases and collaborating with the Security Department for contractor credentialing.
- Collaborating with various departments to align initiatives and project goals.
- Coordinating special projects as assigned and presenting findings to appropriate personnel.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-2 years construction admin experience
- Prior experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and Outlook required
- Experience with Procore highly desired
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
