Location: San Rafael, CA. (Hybrid)
12-Month Assignment
Pay Rate: $34/hr.
On behalf of our client a leading pharmaceutical client specialized in developing therapeutics for patient with life threatening rare genetic diseases. We are seeking a Contract Operations Analyst to join the team and support the end-to-end contracting process within the Global Sourcing & Procurement organization. This critical role will serve as the primary point of contact for contract lifecycle activities—partnering closely with Managed Services Provider (MSP), Legal, Procurement, and cross-functional business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
· Oversee the full contract lifecycle: create, track, update, and manage contracts from initiation to execution.
· Act as the subject matter expert for SAP Ariba and Icertis contract modules, ensuring seamless system usage and process compliance.
· Serve as the central liaison between GSP, MSP, Legal, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide status updates.
· Collaborate to enhance workflows, streamline contract processes, and increase operational efficiency.
· Generate and analyze reports to monitor contract volumes, cycle times, and potential bottlenecks.
· Contribute to the development and deployment of SOPs, policies, and training materials for contract operations.
· Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and regulatory guidelines.
· Foster strong partnerships with Procurement, Legal, and Supplier Operations to maintain process integrity.
Education & Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
· Prior experience supporting procurement or sourcing operations in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical or biotech experience preferred) with 3 years of hands on experience. / Global Procurement Preferred
· Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay processes and supporting technologies.
· Strong working knowledge of SAP Ariba Contracts and Procurement modules.
· Preferred experience with Icertis CLM systems.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and PDF editing tools (e.g. Adobe Acrobat).
· Familiarity with additional contract management tools (e.g. DocuSign, Coupa).
