Senior Coordinator, TV Production
Location: Culver City, CA
Pay Rate: $22-27/hour
6-month assignment (potential to extend)
The Sr Coordinator in the TV Mastering department plays a key role in supporting the Client's Distribution and Content Services (DCS). This position ensures the timely and accurate delivery of production assets required for distribution, working closely with post-production vendors, Client production teams, and internal stakeholders to manage asset collection, quality control, and creation of serviceable assets for global distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with post-production vendors and Client production teams to track and ensure timely delivery of TV production assets per technical specifications for distribution.
- Manage the creation of Purchase Orders and Work Orders for vendor engagement and asset mastering services.
- Oversee Quality Control (QC) processes, addressing any technical issues and resolving them with vendors.
- Streamline QC and mastering workflows, recommending improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Support department overflow, including asset tracking and delivery oversight.
- Develop documentation and training materials for new workflows and processes.
- Communicate production status and delivery updates to internal teams (e.g., Localization, Distribution).
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in post-production and vendor management.
- Experience working with 4K assets.
- International experience a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Must be available for after-hours and weekend work when necessary.
