ESG Reporting Lead, Domestic TV Production Finance
Location: Culver City, CA (Hybrid)
14-Month Assignment (potential to convert or extend)
Pay: $88-94 / HR
Our client, a leading multinational media and entertainment company is seeking an ESG Reporting Lead, Domestic TV Production Finance to join a dynamic, driven team with the vision of 'being a global leader in ESG reporting, promoting accountability to commitments that create a brighter future. ESG reporting will need to be audited and will be the source of truth to monitor progress towards sustainability goals, including Net Zero by 2040. The ESG Reporting Lead will be supporting the vision, process definition, and execution of gathering ESG information from Domestic TV Productions in a systematic, thoughtfully designed way.
Responsibilities:
- Initial focus will be on Greenhouse Gas Scope 1 & 2 Emissions, but scope includes all relevant ESG topics.
- Lead ESG reporting vision and strategy.
- Develop auditable ESG reporting processes in alignment with company policies.
- Manage ESG data collection, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Create and lead ESG trainings.
- Pursue solutions that allow for more accurate ESG results without increasing administrative burden on production teams.
- Collaborate with technical teams to provide input on technology solutions and support end-to end solution delivery.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to identify and capitalize on opportunities for improvements and efficiencies.
Education & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of direct production experience in roles like Producer, Production Supervisor, UPM, Production Accountant, Studio Finance/Production Executive, or similar.
- Must have multiple years of demonstrated excellence in process definition and improvements or implementing applications within entertainment industry.
- Analytical, people-oriented, problem-solver who thrives when tackling ambiguous problems.
- Experience with or passion for ESG subject matter is a plus.
- This could include climate change and carbon emissions; diversity, equity, and inclusion; respect for human rights.
- Experience with accounting or audit is a plus.
- Able to work from Culver City, CA office multiple days a week—there is no flexibility for this to be a fully remote position.
