Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote)
12 month assignment (Potential to extend)
Pay Rate: $40-$45/hr. DOE
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
On behalf of our client, a private university in Los Angeles, CA, we are seeking a Financial Analyst II with expertise in fund accounting and financial analysis within a hospital or comparable setting. This position requires a detail-oriented professional capable of delivering high-quality financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop new financial reports and track/report KPIs.
· Perform budget and variance analysis, explaining variances effectively.
· Conduct financial modeling, including creation, maintenance, and enhancement.
· Collaborate with Finance, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and external vendors.
· Train and mentor junior financial analysts.
Education and Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
· Minimum 5 years in fund accounting and financial analysis in a hospital or similar environment.
· Prior experience as a Senior or Lead Financial/Budget Analyst.
· Advanced Excel proficiency (v-lookups, pivot tables, sum-ifs, large, linked files).
· Familiarity with financial ERP systems (e.g., Infor Lawson).
· Strong knowledge of GAAP, General Ledger, and Chart of Accounts.
