Financial Analyst III
6-Month Contract – Maternity Leave Coverage
Pay Rate: $60-62/ HR
Location: Milpitas, CA (Hybrid – 3 days on-site / 2 days remote)
Our client, a prominent global computer technology company recognized for its SSDs, USB flash drives, and memory card products, is looking for a Financial Analyst III to join our team on a 6-month contract to cover a maternity leave. This role will act as a trusted advisor and business partner within the Real Estate and Operations team, collaborating with senior executives and management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of spending, including expense, headcount, and capital management
- Oversee forecasting, variance analysis, monthly close, and management reporting
- Analyze key expense trends to identify risks and opportunities
- Conduct qualitative analysis to assess operational performance
- Prepare executive presentations to review results and forecasts.
- Support ad hoc initiatives and business cases
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong financial analysis, financial modeling, and variance analysis skills
- Ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally while meeting tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build business partnerships
- Proficiency in SmartView, Oracle Cloud, Excel, and Microsoft Suite
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (5-7 years of relevant experience required)
- MBA is preferred but not required
