Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid – 2-3 times a week)

Salary: $110,000-$115,000
On behalf of our client, a leading private university in Los Angeles, CA, we are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join their Medical Enterprise, specifically Information Technology team. You will be supporting healthcare system initiatives through hands-on project management, planning, and execution. This position plays a key role in coordinating and overseeing IT implementations within a healthcare setting, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects related to healthcare systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Evaluate how technology changes impact operational workflows and business processes.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis and feasibility studies to guide project decisions.
- Oversee implementation of business and practice management systems or EMR systems.
- Assign tasks, monitor project scope, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project budgets and success metrics.
- Ensure alignment with PMO standards and practices.
- Supervise project team members and contracted resources as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and efficient project outcomes.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of IT Project Management experience.
- Prior implementation experience with Business and Practice Management systems or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in physician offices or hospital settings.
- Familiarity with applications such as Kronos, Lawson, McKesson, Cerner, or IDX is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to analyze administrative procedures and conduct cost-benefit studies.
- Strong experience managing complex cross-platform technology solutions.
