Requirements
- Longevity in work history is a must
- Bachelor's degree in business, psychology, communications, employment law, industrial relations, or related field
- 5 or more years of experience in human resources, behavioral or social science, or organizational psychology
- Experience in employment law and/or employee relations
- Demonstrated excellence in providing high-level customer service
- Ability to work with various stakeholder and employee groups
- Sound judgment, high integrity, and ability to handle confidential HR information
Nice-to-Have
- Policy development experience
- Experience in higher education or employment law
- Knowledge of best practices for investigations and reducing bias
- Ability to train staff on policies, laws, and industry trends
Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations and workplace concerns
- Provide strategic support and coaching on employee performance
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters
- Analyze trends and develop proactive solutions
- Interpret and apply HR policies and regulations
- Support organizational changes and strategic initiatives
