Job Title: Manufacturing Technician (Nasal Spray, Medical Device)
Location: 1513 Bull Lea Road, Lexington, KY 40511
6-month W2 Contract through TPS Group Staffing Firm, with strong potential to convert.
Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (with pay differential)
- Weekends OT
Pay Rate:
- Base: $19/hour – $20.50/hour
- Shift Differential: Additional $1.50/hour for 2nd shift
Job Overview
We are excited to welcome skilled Manufacturing Technicians to our dynamic team! If you have experience in a regulated environment, such as pharmaceuticals, food and beverage production, chemical assembly, or handling sensitive explosives, and are familiar with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP), we want to hear from you. Join us in producing high-quality nasal spray medications that make a difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to CGMP regulations and company policies.
- Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on machinery for nasal spray medication.
- Documentation: Accurately document production data and maintain detailed records.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Safety: Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Sanitization: Prepare and sanitize work areas, ensuring a cleanroom environment is maintained.
- PPE: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as scrubs, hair nets, and glasses.
- Packaging: Assist in the packaging and coating of pharmaceutical products like nasal sprayers to meet specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a regulated industry.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with CGMP regulations and requirements.
- Preferred Experience: Experience in regulated food production, beverage, or distillery environments.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Cleanroom Experience: Experience working in cleanroom environments and maintaining sanitary conditions.
- PPE Adherence: Previous experience in roles requiring PPE and adherence to safety protocols.
Additional Requirements
- Industry Experience: 1 year of pharmaceutical experience preferred.
