Programmer Analyst III
Location: Milpitas, CA.
6 month assignment (Great potential to extend)
Pay Rate: $68/hr.
On behalf of our client, a fortune 500 software company, we are seeking a skilled Programmer Analyst III to join their team. This role involves designing, coding, and testing new programs, along with maintaining and troubleshooting existing software. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in working with Workday, specifically using Workday Cloud Connect for Benefits and creating custom integrations.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, and test new programs.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and maintain source code for various computer programs.
- Document all programs with comprehensive flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and revision dates.
- Customize vendor-supplied programs to meet organizational needs.
- Use Workday Cloud Connect for Benefits to create custom integrations from Workday to select vendors.
- Work with vendors to test and approve their products.
- Apply knowledge of computer algorithms, formal logic, and application domains.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, as well as 4-6 years of experience.
- Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge and proficiency in using Workday Cloud Connect.
