Trade Compliance Project Manager
Location: San Jose, CA (Remote) PST only
4 month Assignment (Great potential to extend or convert)
Pay Rate: $34.45/hr.
On behalf of our client a Fortune 500 software company we are seeking a skilled Trade Compliance professional to join their dynamic Global Logistics/ Global Trade Operations team. As a Trade Compliance Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their company's adherence to global trade regulations and supply chain security requirements. You will lead and manage various projects related to trade compliance, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, and execute assigned projects within specified timelines, ensuring timely delivery.
- Define project scopes, tasks, and timelines aligned with corporate objectives.
- Collaborate with business units and IT teams to develop process flows and system designs in Oracle Global Trade Module (GTM) and other ERP systems.
- Work with IT to support the development and implementation of new system capabilities.
- Implement ERP projects and trade operational excellence tools in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external business partners.
- Conduct data analysis to streamline and standardize processes and produce performance reports.
- Provide training to company personnel on new system transaction processes and enhancements.
- Perform basic data analytics and support project testing/training activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in international Trade or equivalent expertise; Professional Certification such as PMP is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in Import/Export trade compliance or Project Management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of global logistics/trade operations and customs and trade compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office/ Productivity programs such as MS Excel, Word, Visio, Tableau, Smartsheets, etc.
- Knowledge of SQL/Python for data querying is an added advantage.
