Salary Range: $116,000-131,000 + company benefits package
Work Hours: 8-5

Description:
The Project/Cost Manager oversees cost control procedures, policies, and processes for construction projects within the Health System Design and construction portfolio. This role involves managing all phases of the project control effort, including cost and budget management, change control monitoring, document control, and progress reporting. The incumbent collaborates with Construction/Project Managers, HRIS, and Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial management, compliance, and successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enforce cost control procedures, policies, and financial documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to produce comprehensive cost reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts, fostering efficient project management.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of change order requests, invoice reviews, and budgetary variances, communicating findings to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Partner with System accounting and capital planning teams to forecast projections, plan budgets, and manage Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) effectively.
- Spearhead clinical operations projects, ensuring alignment with System standards and regulatory requirements.
- Regularly review and present project data, delivering insightful briefings on project financials to relevant parties.
- Work closely with Project Managers and System departments to mitigate financial risks associated with projects.
- Utilize analytical skills to evaluate project expenditures, develop performance metrics, and report on vendor performance.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills when interacting with diverse stakeholder groups, fostering collaborative relationships.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to overall organizational objectives.
Must-Haves:
– US Citizenship is mandatory.
– Strong work history continuity.
– Bachelor's degree in financial or business administration, construction management, or related field.
– Minimum 7 years of experience in construction management or financial administration.
– Reporting skills and proficiency in construction project management software (e.g., Procore/Honest Building or eBuilder).
– Clear and effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience in healthcare environments (hospitals or clinics) is strongly preferred.
– Master's degree in business administration, construction management, or financial management.
– Experience with Bluebeam is a plus.
