Education:
Bachelor’s degree.

Experience:
5 years in a hospital or healthcare setting, and/or handling matters related to healthcare finance and Finance Transformation.
2 years in directly related program, project, or administrative roles with responsibility for multiple or major project management, including experience in analyzing information, problems, situations, and procedures to define objectives, identify patterns, and formulate recommendations.

Key Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in structuring and defining Finance Transformation and initiatives, setting priorities, and executing with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with finance, IT, and operational teams, ensuring alignment on transformation objectives and seamless execution.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in program governance, risk assessment, and change management, ensuring finance transformation initiatives are delivered on scope, on time, and within budget.
Proven ability to facilitate and lead working sessions with cross-functional teams, driving alignment and stakeholder engagement for finance transformation projects.
Highly skilled in Microsoft Office suite applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.
Proven success in developing and refining finance-related training materials, user guides, and quick reference guides.
Proven success in developing and refining finance-related policies and procedures, aligning them with best practices and organizational objectives.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive financial and operational data with discretion, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, SOX, and other regulatory requirements.

Job Accountabilities:

Program & Project Management Support:

Provide a wide range of program, project management, and operational support within the Finance Department.
Assist with the administration and coordination of various project management functions, providing ad hoc program-specific support as requested.
Assist in developing and providing program, project management support for internal protocols, processes, and procedures.
Finance Transformation Leadership & Strategy:

Lead and govern end-to-end finance programs, ensuring alignment with Keck Medicine’s strategic financial objectives and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Finance Transformation (e.g., ERP, EPM, financial reporting tools).
Partner with finance and IT leaders to define finance process standardization, workflow automation, and digital innovation strategies.
Drive initiatives to enhance financial forecasting, planning, reporting, and revenue cycle management to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Technology & Process Optimization:

Spearhead the implementation of cloud-based financial management systems (e.g., Workday, Lawson, Oracle, Strata) to enhance financial operations.
Lead the integration of data analytics, AI-driven forecasting, and automation tools to improve financial reporting and strategic planning capabilities.
Collaborate with IT and finance teams to ensure seamless data flow between Finance Transformation, revenue cycle platforms, and reporting tools.
Establish financial data governance and ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and healthcare financial regulations.
Stakeholder & Change Management:

Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, and Executive Leadership, ensuring alignment of financial transformation initiatives.
Facilitate cross-functional working sessions with finance, revenue cycle, procurement, IT, and clinical leaders to drive operational efficiencies.
Develop and execute change management and training strategies to support system adoption and process changes across Keck Medicine.
Lead executive-level reporting, providing insights, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations on program health and outcomes.
