Job Title: Project Manager – Clinical Operations
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Job Type: Full-time Hours, W2 Contract, Temp-to Hire (TPS Contract to USC internal hire)
Salary range for this position is approx. $81,120.00 – $133,010.00 or up to $64/ HR.

 
About Us:
Keck Medicine of USC is a leading healthcare organization dedicated to enhancing business performance through innovative clinical operations projects. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management and Oversight:
   – Lead clinical operations projects from beginning to end to enhance business performance.
   – Ensure project cost control operates according to System's standards and expectations.
   – Coordinate cost recording, monitoring, and reporting practices for compliance with applicable standards, accuracy, and consistency.
   – Audit project reports and data to ensure the quality of cost information is accurately reported.
 
2. Reporting and Analytics:
   – Review Project data to keep project managers informed of any issues and provide regular briefings on project financials, including variance analysis and monthly cost reports.
   – Maintain adequate records and build project history as a reference for feedback and recommendations to Project Team members.
   – Participate in reviewing contractor pay applications to ensure accuracy and consistency.
 
3. Collaboration and Risk Management:
   – Collaborate with Project Managers and System entity departments to assist with Construction Audits and manage financial risks on the Projects.
   – Develop and produce project/program control, status, and summary reports for Health System entities, service lines, and other clients.
 
4. Analytics and Performance Evaluation:
   – Analyze project spending to improve cashflow projections and construction project lifecycle management.
   – Develop analytics to report on vendor performance, change orders, exceptions, project overruns, and other targeted areas with Design & Construction and System leadership.
 
5. Stakeholder Relations:
   – Demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain effective relations with diverse groups such as construction managers, administrative and operations leadership, clinical staff members, executives, University partners, and vendors on a variety of issues and administrative tasks.
 
6. Communication Skills:
   – Skillfully communicate complex problems and proposals clearly in both formal and informal settings.
 
7. Other Duties:
   – Perform other duties as assigned.

– US Citizenship:
  – US citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this role.
 
– Experience in Healthcare Environments:
  – Experience in hospital or clinic settings is highly preferred.
 
Qualifications:
– Bachelor's degree in [relevant field] or equivalent experience.
– Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Proficiency in project management software/tools.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
