Salary Range: $145k – $155k
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

On behalf of our client a private university in Los Angeles, CA.  we are seeking for a Senior Project Manager that will be responsible for the successful analysis, initiation, planning, execution, and closeout of programs and projects as assigned by the Director, PMO or their designee. This role will oversee complex projects within the IS PMO, involving diverse components such as healthcare processes, clinical applications, business/administrative applications, and supporting technology infrastructure.
 
Responsibilities:
·      Ensure assigned projects are managed consistently and effectively, adhering to PMO processes and methodologies.
·      Maintain up-to-date project documentation and contribute to centralized reports and dashboards.
·      Act as the primary liaison for assigned projects, fostering positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
·      supervision of other employees and manage contract/vendor labor for outsourced project components
·      Contribute to enhancing the PMO's project management capabilities through proactive identification of improvement areas and support for implementation.
·      Participate actively in internal meetings, training sessions, and assist in the recruitment and selection of PMO team members.
Education and Experience:
·      Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related technical field required. Master's Degree in a related field preferred.
·      5 years of project management experience leading IT projects from initiation to closeout.  Experience in hospital/healthcare settings is required.
·      Experience with diverse project types (construction, research, infrastructure, clinical/business applications).
·      Familiarity with healthcare provider industry and business case development.
·      Work experience in a centralized PMO environment with strong knowledge of Project Management principles.
·      Performance improvement experience including process/workflow modeling and root cause analysis.
·      Proficiency with project management tools and techniques (e.g., project planning, risk/issue management, governance, cost/benefit analysis, change controls).
·      Prior exposure to applications such as Kronos, Lawson, Cerner.
·      Strong financial and business acumen, with experience managing enterprise technology deployments.
·      Experience in managing clinical projects and/or IT construction projects.
