Job Title: Senior Analyst, Sustainable & Diverse Responsible Sourcing

Location: Culver City, CA (Hybrid)

Department: Global Procurement. (Leading Creative Entertainment Client)

Pay: Up to $50/ HR, DOE

6-Month W2 Assignment, Potential to Extend.

Reports to: Director of Global Responsible Sourcing

Overview: The Responsible Sourcing team is dedicated to fostering inclusive and sustainable sourcing practices for goods, services, and corporate travel. This role involves evaluating and managing our supplier base to ensure diversity and sustainability across our global supply chain.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Sustainable Analytics Proficiency:

  • Collect and analyze supplier emissions data for Categories 1 (purchased goods/services) and 6 (corporate travel).
  • Establish baselines, implement decarbonization strategies, and track performance.
  • Utilize data intelligence systems for monitoring and reporting.

Business Intelligence:

  • Research and support proactive emissions monitoring.
  • Attend industry events and webinars to learn best practices.

Business Operations:

  • Execute project plans, budgets, and strategies for Responsible Sourcing.
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support project documentation.

Data Presentation Skills:

  • Develop and present supplier sustainability performance data.
  • Create reports to inform and drive action.

Trusted Advisor:

  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Develop and coordinate sustainability strategies.

Agile Process Improvement:

  • Enhance sourcing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders.

Supplier Diversity Support:

  • Identify, onboard, and support diverse suppliers.
  • Assist in diversity outreach and training.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of analytics experience, sustainability or ESG experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to learn advanced data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong initiative and independent working capability.

 

Education:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Environmental Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Relevant sustainability certifications are a plus.
  • Agile/Scrum/Kanban certifications preferred.
