Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote – Must pick up equipment on 1st day)
6-month assignment (potential to extend or convert)
Pay: $28-31/HR
 
Our client, a leading private university in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Service Desk Agent to join their team.  This position will support the end user community within the university's medical enterprise department.  This position operates 24/7 and candidates need to be open to working / covering all shifts.
 

  • 1st Shift: Day shift starting at either 6:30am, 7:00am, or 8:00am, working until the 8th hour.
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm.
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00pm – 7:30am

 
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting the end user community at the university hospitals and clinic locations.
  • Analyze and diagnose application / system issues, creating and updating user accounts in Active Directory & other systems.
  • Perform software installs, PC maintenance and maintain communication for planned and unplanned outages.
  • Support for all users experiencing problems with the clinical application software suite, various operating systems, business productivity software, network and Wi-Fi connectivity and other computer related technology.
  • Track & monitor ticket progress per required SLA & follow escalation procedures.
  • Work on handling 30+ tickets daily, providing quality customer service

 
Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in related field is preferred.
  • Min of 3 years of IT and 2 years' experience within Service Desk Support
  • Must be open to working all shifts when necessary.
  • Experience with Active Directory and ServiceNow required.
