Sr. Departmental Applications and Analytics Analyst (Remote)

Location: Remote, MUST be Local to Los Angeles Only (Must pick up equipment on first day)

Department: Medical Enterprise

Contract: Long-Term (12 Months with high possibility of extension)

Pay Rate: $54-64 per hour

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday)

 

Required Knowledge:

  • MIPPS, eCQM, PIP, DA2 LightsOn, HealtheAnalytics, and Population Health
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience/certifications.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in system design, documentation, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry
  • Cerner experience
  • Quality Reporting experience
  • AMS support experience (highly preferred)
  • Lighthouse experience (highly preferred)

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Departmental Applications and Analytics Analyst to join our team remotely, MUST be based in Los Angeles area for the occassional on-site. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to design, develop, implement, and manage information systems. You will leverage your expertise in data analysis and healthcare regulations to ensure accurate reporting and support operational decision-making.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user needs and document IT design specifications.
  • Develop system scope and objectives, and evaluate existing/proposed systems.
  • Devise and modify procedures to solve problems using data processing.
  • Work independently on complex system activities and serve as a subject matter expert for quality and regulatory reporting.
  • Analyze, compile, organize, and analyze data for various purposes.
  • Support quality reporting and provide data for operational needs.
  • Prepare data analysis reports with visualizations, summaries, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with business partners on data requests and reporting.
  • Utilize Cerner and Data Warehousing tools for regulatory reporting.
  • Investigate non-standard data requests and system issues.
  • Partner with Cerner to prepare, forecast, and deploy new regulatory reporting solutions.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience/certifications.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in system design, documentation, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry (required).
  • Cerner experience (required).
  • Quality Reporting experience (required).
  • AMS support experience (preferred).
  • Lighthouse experience (preferred).
