Salary: $150K-$170K (Exempt)
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Our client, a leading private university in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Supervisor, Clinical Informatics (RN) to join their team. This individual will be responsible providing operational support of the interdisciplinary team to attain high quality patient care outcomes and leading integration of clinical practice and applications which include, but not limited to, nursing, provider, lab, radiology, pharmacy applications.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead clinical informatics staff and processes to enhance clinician use of EHR and clinical technologies.
- Promote communication and collaboration among clinical informatics staff, leadership, operations, and IT teams.
- Monitor clinical adoption, efficiency, and outcomes using data.
- Align and support clinical informatics staff for projects, go-lives, and end-user support, including training and coaching.
- Integrate nursing, computer, and information science to improve patient care safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Lead efforts to plan, coordinate, and implement clinical technologies and processes aligned with organizational initiatives.
- Facilitate testing, implementation, and upgrades of clinical technology and applications.
- Ensure informatics staff representation in IT and clinical committees and initiatives.
- Promote the adoption of clinical technologies to support new clinical knowledge and innovation.
- Act as liaisons and consultants between clinical end-users and information systems, interpreting technology needs and coordinating end-user involvement.
- Lead collaboration with clinical, IS, and operation leaders for staff education and technology adoption preparedness.
- Enhance informatics team operations, resource utilization, and financial outcomes through assessment and recommendations.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify informatics and clinical SMEs for projects and initiatives.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master's Degree preferred
- Required 2-5 years RN clinical experience
- Registered Nurse – RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing)
- Informatics or performance improvement experience
- Cerner experience preferred
- Strong presentations skills to executives and chief clinicians
