Technical Accountant III
Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid – Flexibility to be on-site as needed)
3-Month Assignment (potential to extend or convert)
Pay: $90-92 / hour
Our client, a Fortune 300 a computer hard drive disk manufacturer and data storage company, is looking for a Technical Accountant III to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Technical Accounting function in researching and concluding on complex technical accounting matters, such as mergers, acquisitions, lease agreements, or revenue arrangements.
- Assess financial and operational implications of complex accounting matters.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Interact with multiple functions to obtain relevant financial or operational information to support complex technical matters.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science with concentration in accounting
- 5+ years of experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and the Accounting Standards Codification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate complex accounting issues to non-accounting personnel
