Pay Rate: Up to $45.23/ HR
1- year Assignment, potential to extend or convert to FTE
OPTION A: 5-month contract, can be fully remote within Southern CA
OPTION B: 1-year contract, strong likelihood to convert FTE, hybrid 2 days on-site in Irvine

Job Description:
Are you a design enthusiast with a passion for crafting exceptional user experiences on the web? Our computer hardware/ storage client is seeking a talented graphic/ UX designer to join our dynamic UX design team. As a key player, you'll collaborate in a creative, team-oriented environment to elevate the visual identity and user experience across our extensive online ecosystem/e-commerce.
MUST – HAVE: (please demonstrate on resume/ examples in portfolio)
- 7-10 years of UI/UX design experience with a focus on visual and interaction design.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, or Figma for designing mock-ups and interactive prototypes.
- Familiarity with front-end languages and frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web-based interaction design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate design elements effectively to stakeholders and engineering, considering page flows, animations, and interactive elements.
- Collaborate with UX researchers to conduct user testing and iterate designs based on real user feedback.
- Infuse brand identity into all digital communications, maintaining consistency in visuals and tone across various platforms.
- Present creative concepts and completed designs to leadership and peers.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of UI/UX design experience with a focus on visual and interaction design.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, or Figma for designing mock-ups and interactive prototypes.
- Familiarity with front-end languages and frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web-based interaction design.
- Experience with JIRA for efficient project management and collaboration.
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles and designing for various screen sizes and devices.
- Familiarity with Google Material design patterns, WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines, and atomic design methodologies.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with video and motion graphics software (After Effects, Premiere, Media Encoder) is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI tools for design process optimization and innovation is advantageous.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in design
