Work Arrangement: Hybrid, Monday & Thursday onsite; Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday remote
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Employment Type: 6-Month W2 Contract
Pay: $55-57 / HR

Position Overview
A global leader in data storage and technology solutions is seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to create engaging, intuitive, and web-centric digital experiences. This role will combine user experience, interface design, and digital brand execution to develop experiences that improve usability, customer engagement, and conversion.

The UX/UI Designer will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, designers, content teams, and other stakeholders to translate business and user needs into polished digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design intuitive and visually engaging user experiences for web-based and digital platforms.
  • Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, storyboards, sitemaps, and other design concepts using Figma.
  • Incorporate established brand identity, visual standards, and tone of voice across digital experiences.
  • Develop digital creative for promotional campaigns, seasonal initiatives, evergreen content, and core web experiences.
  • Evaluate and optimize existing designs to improve usability, customer experience, engagement, and conversion.
  • Partner with developers to ensure designs can be effectively implemented across web environments.
  • Collaborate with product, creative, content, and development teams throughout the design lifecycle.
  • Apply responsive design principles and established UI/UX best practices.
  • Utilize Google Material Design patterns and other modern design standards where appropriate.
  • Support design handoff, feedback, revisions, and implementation through Jira or similar project management tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Design, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency with Figma, including wireframing and prototyping.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and/or After Effects.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and web-centric design.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web browser technologies.
  • Familiarity with Google Material Design patterns.
  • Experience collaborating with developers, designers, content teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience using Jira or a similar project/workflow management platform.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI, digital, responsive web, and visual design capabilities.
